charity sing off for kidsFebruary may be the shortest month of the year, but The Mighty Mo Brewing Company presents an extra-large helping of live music starting next Thursday with a kick-off event featuring popular Americana singer Steve Keller. The brewery will have live music from a different act every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the month from 5 to 8 p.m.

Each musician is performing for one of two charities — Make-a-Wish Montana and the local Casa-Can. Each musician chosen to perform often donates his or her time to help raise money for various charities throughout the year. Keller is not part of the competition, but is performing the kick-off evening and the wrap-up event.

Patrons are welcome to vote for their favorite musician by donating to the cause on the night they are playing. You also will be able to vote for your favorite musician during the finale on Wednesday, March 2, where the brewery will crown the Musical Charity Partner of the Year.

Performing this year are:

Feb. 4: Eden Bridge (Jolene Schalper on acoustic guitar and vocals and Geoff Haggard on mandolin)
