Loose women good beerThe new comedy trio from Great Falls natives and good friends of mine Wally Bossie, Clay Vermulm and Glen Weeks — Loose Women and Good Beer — will give a preview performance at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Machinery Row.

The show, according to a release from the guys, is,

Pirates! Cannibals! Space-Monkey Porn! It’s the Muppet Show meets Hamlet. Subtract the puppets and Shakespeare, and add a drinking game. With a script crafted by master idiots, and music snippets borrowed from pop culture, the serious issues that face us everyday will be thoroughly ignored, in earnest. Any sense of decorum will also be ignored, in earnest.

A lot of the show features off-the-cuff interactions between the three of them with an uncensored, comedic flavor.

Sunday’s performance is unique in that it might be the only chance people here will have to get to watch this performance as they’re wanting to take it on the road to other places across the state.

If you’re a theater goer in Great Falls you’ll recognize Glen from the shows he’s done recently such as The Dead Legend and Come Blow Your Horn at UGF.

You’ll recognize Clay from I Hate Hamlet, and Dead Legend. He’s also done several stand-up performances, most notably opening for Reggie Watts at UGF and Michael Winslow.

Wally’s last show was I Hate Hamlet, and he’s been in so many others in the past that it’s crazy to try remembering them all.

Recently, he was in “No Sex Please, We’re British,” along with Glen, at Montana Actors Theatre. He’s also the author of the play “Vigilance” which may be opening in the near future, also.

If you like to laugh at sarcastic, twisted humor with a touch of pop culture references worked in, check these guys out on Sunday.

They’ve already played in Cut Bank and Shelby and have another date set for Missoula, with the potential for shows in Billings, Livingston, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and White Sulphur Springs on the horizon, as well.
