Ace Winterrowd is a good friend to Big Sky State Buzz and takes some outstanding photos, some of which you’ll see here, and others you will see on his own website, which he’s been running for the past few years. Based out of Billings and the brainchild of former Billings Gazette editor Ed Kemmick, Last Best News features intriguing news, commentary, editorials, photos and content from across the state. Mr. Kemmick was a big inspiration for my decision to start this venture because I thought if someone else who’s smart, talented and possessing of a background in journalism can do this, so can we.
Jake here, and while I am a graduate of the University of Montana and supposed to inherently be opposed to all things associated with Montana State University, I have to hand it to Mr. Colter Nuanez, who after losing his job at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, has taken the reigns at Bobcat Nation and hasn’t let up yet. Both companies have a passion for MMA and continue to push the sport to new heights.
Jake here again, and I can confidently say that Deny Staggs and crew at the Montana Film Office are some of my favorite people ever. They’re knowledgeable, professional and helpful and want to see the film industry in Montana explode.
