The always-popular, always free Montana Shakespeare in the Parks stops through Great Falls this weekend.

The shows are Friday and Saturday at the University of Great Falls starting at 6 p.m. each evening.

The plays the talented theater troupe are showing this year are “As You Like It,” and “Romeo and Juliet,” with “Romeo” going up on Friday and “As You Like It” on Saturday.

While I could sit here and tell you all about what you can expect, I think it’s much more useful to hear some of the performers describe it.

So, below are two snippets from an actor in each play talking about their roles. First here is Joanna Harmon, who plays Rosalind in “As You Like It”

And, here is Casey Hoekstra, who plays Romeo.

Credit for these clips goes to Shakespeare on the Road and Paul Edmondson.

If you’re looking for more information about this year’s Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, including a full schedule, check out their website  www. shakespeareintheparks.org.

Also here’s a cool map below detailing all of the towns in Montana where the Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has visited since starting in 1973.
