Hell City Kitty rocks the Back Alley Pub during the Great Falls Story Slam
After a brief hiatus, the Great Falls Story Slam returns this weekend combined with a concert from Hell City Kitty.
The Story Slam, organized by Electric City Creative, starts at 8 p.m. at the Back Alley Pub in Great Falls.
The topic for the slam this month is your choice of themes about work stories and/or rock n’ roll stories.
“Come tell us your weird, funny, or touching stories or maybe come tell us about the time you met your favorite musician or when you were Mr./Ms. Rock n Roll yourself. Whatever these themes mean to you, we want to hear it,” it states on the event Facebook page.
People are not required to prepare any material, and the winner gets the pot collected for admission, which is $2 per contestant.
Hell City Kitty features Cale Younce on vocals/guitar, Mandy Younce on vocals, Casey Hunter on bass and Johnny Walls on drums. Mike Chasse will be filling in for Walls on drums on Saturday. The group performs a mixture of covers and original garage rock songs.
Tyson Habein will have his new book “Flesh” available for purchase, as well. For more information about the book, check out the article we did a few weeks ago here.
The evening also is a birthday celebration for Amma Jones.
