Beers with Queers 1Starting this Saturday, both Electric City Creative and Open Definition: Great Falls LGBTQ team up to hold an event featuring drinks, games and conversation called Beers with Queers.

The free event will take place the first Saturday of each month at The Back Alley Pub in Great Falls starting at 7:30 p.m.

On the event’s Facebook page, the event’s organizers Tyson and Sara Habein explain the event, saying

“By using the term “Queer” we mean it in the all-inclusive, reclaimed sense. We understand that the term is not for everyone, but… Well, I suppose we couldn’t resist a good rhyme.”

Saturday’s event is open to everyone ages 21 and over of any orientation. Organizers say they hope to open the event up to those under 21 in the future, as well.
