Party hard Friday night at the Do Bar with a night of Hardstyle EDM
SideShow Promotions this weekend invites you to come to the Do Bar and go hard or go home at it’s “Last Minute Summer Series” show featuring Hardstyle EDM music from DJ HVZE, The BeatTells and Mixtress Pendula.
The event kicks off at 9 p.m. It’s free to attend but you must be 21 years old or older.
Hardstyle is thought to have originated in the Netherlands in 1999 or 2000. People thought to be the originators of the new type of dance music include Dov J., The Prophet, Raoul Van Grinsven, Wouter and Sjoerd, Janssen and Dana van Dreven.
Some of the identifying traits of hardstyle include high beats per minute counts and heavy bass.
The BeatTells, real name Tiberius Smith, came to Great Falls from Germany.
On his Mixcloud page his bio states, “I was born in Poland and raised in Germany, been in the scene since ’99. I love all kinds of genres and music i really appreciate the love and Vibes you get at festivals and clubs. Where else in the world can you have people from 30 different countries get together for 1 and the same reason??? Love of Music is a powerful thing my friends, so keep rocking your socks off and spread the Love that Music was put in this universe to Unite us all!”
DJ HVZE, real name Zack Wade, is an airman at Malmstrom Air Force Base from Memphis, Tenn. He recently placed in the top 3 in the Electronic Music genre category at the 2015 Zoo Music Awards in Missoula.
And finally, Mixtress Pendula is DJ, producer, EDM artist and event coordinator with SideShow Promotions. She’s been on the EDM/Electronica music scene since 1993.
