Kayla Adams performs free show at The Front on Friday for 221 Children’s Fund
Kalispell native and Nashville recording artist Kayla Adams, 24, performs a free show at The Front Brewery in Great Falls on Friday. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m.
The show is a fundraiser for the 221 Children’s Fund, with $1 of every pint sold going to help children and their families pay for medical bills and travel costs. It’s being hosted by Miss Montana Tahnee Peppenger. The show was put together by Cory Smith, CEO of 221 Industries.
Adams, who we interviewed last month at Big Sky State Buzz, has opened for country stars such as Rodney Atkins and Kelly Pickler, as well as others.
Her first single, “Sober and Sorry” recently stood at No. 1 on the American Independent Country chart and is being shown on CMT.com, MTV.com and VH1.com. She’s performed all across the U.S. as well as Montana.
The video for “Sober and Sorry” was shot on location at Casey’s Bar in Whitefish. Adams, a 2008 Flathead High School graduate, said it was important to her to shoot there because she wanted to stay true to her Montana roots.
