Dave Chappelle to perform two shows in Missoula in June
It’s a celebration.
Popular stand-up comedian Dave Chappelle will play two shows in Missoula next month, it was announced today.
Chappelle plays at the University of Montana Dennison Theatre on June 16 at 7 p.m. and again at 9:30. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 20 at griztix.com, at the Adams Center Box Office and at all GrizTix locations, or by caling 406-243-4051 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tickets are $57 per person plus fees.
Chappelle is perhaps best known for his popular variety program “Chappelle’s Show” which aired on Comedy Central from 2003 to 2006. The show received two Emmy Nominations and was known for it’s controversial skits such as the “Niggar Family” and Negrodamus with Paul Mooney.
Chappelle famously quit his show in 2006 and seemingly disappeared from the public spotlight for several years before returning in 2013 to do various stand-up shows across the country.
This will be the first time Chappelle has performed in Montana.
