Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks may be looking for you to star in their new project
Yes, you read that correctly.
Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks and Edward Norton are casting for their upcoming HBO miniseries “Lewis & Clark.” They are seeking leading speaking roles. The miniseries is based on Stephen Ambrose’s book “Undaunted Courage.” The miniseries will star Casey Affleck as Meriwether Lewis and will focus on the achievements of the Corps of Discovery as they took their journey up the Missouri River.
According to Rene Haynes, the production’s casting director, they are currently seeking native women ages 17 through their early 20s with a youngish look and Native Americans of all ages who can speak Shoshone, Nez Perce, Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Blackfeet, Chinook, Clatsop, Walla Walla, Sioux and Shawnee. Native men who are lean, skilled riders are encouraged to come as well.
If you are interested in auditioning for the film, there will be three upcoming casting calls in Montana. On Nov. 5 they’ll be at the downtown Holiday Inn in Missoula from noon to 6 p.m., on Nov. 8 they’ll be in Polson at the Best Western KwaTaqNuk Resort from noon to 6 and on Nov. 10 they will be in Browning from noon to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
