pro bullridingCory Smith, CEO of 221 Industries announced today that they officially reached a sponsorship agreement with Pacific Steel and Recycling.

The sponsorship will go toward helping them put on the upcoming Pro Bullriding Championships on May 8 and 9 at Four Seasons Arena, as well as future MMA events.

“We just signed a HUGE deal with Pacific Steel and Recycling,” he said. “It’s been a long process but we nailed it down today. They stepped up to really take care of us.”

Smith added that part of the deal involves 221 handing out coupons to every person attending the bull-riding event and that all of the cans will be recycled at Pacific Steel and Recycling.

“The coupons will be good for money toward recycling stuff and when people come in to recycle stuff (at Pacific Steel and Recycling) they automatically enter to win tickets to our events, also,” he said.

Smith said having this local business come forward to help co-sponsor the bull riding goes a long way in helping put on this event and ones in the future.

Pacific Steel and Recycling“You know you can’t do big events without the support of sponsors,” he said. “This helps us a lot and it’s awesome that they trust us enough to commit that kind of money.”
